| Elizabeth Darchi has been dancing for many years with an extensive repertoire in Ballet, Jazz, and Ballroom with Hustle as her main love. She has taught ballroom and hustle for the Battista Dance Studio, Stepping Out Dance Studio, Sandra Cameron's Studio and Authur Murrays. Her unique style has also been recognized in front of the camera by both the film and television industries. She taught hustle workshops for the NY Julliard School of Dance, Lincoln Center Swing Fest and she was assistant instructor for the stage production of "Saturday Night Fever" in the National Theater, Santo Domingo. Her approach to teaching is fun and informative and she emphasizes a strong and solid foundation in hustle technique. She has judged and taught dance workshops throughout. As a performer she has been part in many Theatrical numbers to be performed at many venues. She is the 2009 recipient of the Arte Phillips Lifetime Achievement Award. Brian has trained in Ballroom and Latin prior to coming into Hustle and incorporates a variety of dynamics; traveling, shaping, syncopated rhythms, and let's not forget - speed. He is known for burning up the floor at a 130 bpms without hesitation.![]() Brian is based in Philadephia, Pa, where he promotes and teaches up and coming Hustle dancers and competitors. Like his dancing, his instruction on Hustle has been acclaimed excellent. Brian has an ability to break down patterns to help you understand the four major components for a comfortable lead and follow: movement, framework, footwork, and timing. | Chris has been dancing for over 25 years. He began dancing as an Amateur in 1978 and that same year won his first amateur dance contest in Long Branch, NJ.
Since then he has danced in numerous other dance competitions including Zachary's in 1990, '91 and later in '96. In 1998 Chris won 2nd place with Mary Poma in Amateur Theater Arts at Hustle USA in New Jersey. In 2000, Chris & Shari Kahn-Miller placed 1st in AmateurJust Hustle Adv. at the World Disco Classic in Ft Lauderdale, FL.
Since turning Pro in Sept. of 2000, Chris placed 2nd in the Pro Jack & Jill at Hustle USA Dance Championship in NJ. In June of 2001, Chris and Mary Ann (Poma) Rosa placed 2nd in Pro Just Hustle World Hustle Dance Championship. In 2002, Chris and Susan Marolda won 2nd place in Pro Just Hustle at both the IHSC in Miami and the World Hustle Dance Championships in NJ. In 2003, Chris and Susan again placed 2nd in the Pro Just Hustle at IHSC. In 2004 Chris and Trisha Caballero won 3rd place in a ProAm Just Hustle Intermediate at IHSC in Miami. Chris and Trisha Caballero took a 2nd place title in ProAm Just Hustle at the World Hustle Dance Championships in NJ. In July of 2004, Chris and Tina Price placed 2nd in Pro Jack & Jill at the World Hustle Dance Championships in NJ. In 2006 Chris and Trisha Caballero placed 1st in Pro-Am Int. Hustle at the IHSC in Miami.

| Lisa and Christopher Joe Schaupp started their dance careers in California where they began to focus on West Coast Swing, Lindy and Hustle. Individually they both started their professional competitive dance careers in the early 90s. They met through dancing and joined forces in 1995. They competed and taught workshops from New York City to Hawaii, as well as directing the Los Angeles based South Bay Swing Dance Club where they attracted over a thousand new students per year. Many of their original students and dance team members have gone on to become top competitive dance champions themselves. While living in California some of the top titles Lisa and/or Chris achieved include: 1st Place US Open Swing Dance Champions, 1st place California-Champions Division 1 Hustle, 1st Place Worlds Jack & Jill Championships, 1st Place California State Swing Champions, Nominated and Inducted into the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame, 1st Place Strictly Pro Division (Boogie by the Bay), US Open "Award of Excellence"
In 2002 Lisa and Chris moved to the Washington DC area with their newborn twin girls. They took some time off from dancing and also had a baby boy in 2005. In 2006 they began to do some competing, and teaching again, as well as focusing on Pro-Am Hustle and Swing students. | Daniel is founder and co-owner of Top Hat Dance Studio with locations in Philadelphia and Lancaster as well as Top Hat Dance Studio School of Ballet. Since its grand opening in 1995, the strength of Top Hat Dance Studio has been attributed to his abilities, both as a dancer and an instructor. For over 15 years, Daniel has continued to teach, perform and compete in the Ballroom, Latin, and Hustle dance forms. He is currently one of the top ranked competitors in the country and undefeated in the Pro/Am Theatre Arts Hustle division. Daniel is curre ntly on the board of the International Hustle Dance Association. In addition, Daniel received his Associate certification in International Standard with a "Highly Commended" score by the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) in 2007. In 2008, Daniel recieved, "with Honors" his ISTD Licentiate Theatre Arts certification. Daniel is also a member of the National Dance Council of America (NDCA.) To his list of DJing credits, David has DJ's for a variety of dance venues including weddings, ballroom studio parties including Diane Nardone's Socials and Stepping Out Studio's Country Western & Swing party. He has also been featured at numerous competitions including The Big Apple Country Western Dance Festival, the North Atlantic Dance Championships and the World Hustle Dance Championships. | Founder of Disco America Dance Championships......Philadelphia's own Donna was the regional dance champion on the national TV show "Dance Fever". For 20 years, she has been competing performing, and exciting audiences with her polished and sensual style. Donna is the choreographer and principal dancer of the "Disco America Dance Troupe". She performed for acts such as: Billy Crystal, Tu-Pac, Sammy Hager, Deney Terrio of Dance Fever, etc. Her TV credits include: Discophonic scene and on the air with the Geater; 1999 QVC National Dance Promotion; 2 appearances at the Phillies game with the Phillie Phanatic; Good Day Philadelphia (with Dick Clark); 19 99 PBS show "Dancing" aired in England; and two appearances on the CBS nationally syndicated competition " Dance Fever" in Los Angeles. She was director and choreographer for Radio 95.7 Jamming Gold dancers and one of the top 3 winners at the Harvest Moon Ball. Her performances in Atlantic City include: the Tropicana Hotel, Ballys Hotel, Resorts and Ceasars Hotel. Donna was one of the Event Directors for Hustle USA 1995. Donna has been teaching, coaching and promoting Hustle in the Philadelphia area as well as traveling throughout the United States to conduct workshops and promote her dance event Disco America. She is also the proprietor of Party Pros Entertainment. Donna's success is evidenced by her awards and participation in competitions . | Donna DeSimone
| Instructor of Performing Arts, Ballroom, Choreographer, Performer & Judge Donna has been teaching dance for 32 years. Her knowledge of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyric, Broadway Theater and Ballroom has greatly influenced her Hustle style. In 1975 Donna was introduced to a dance called the Hustle. Donna became a Hustle dancer on the Television show “Soap Factory Disco” in 1977. In 1978 she opened her first Dance Studio. Four years later opened her second studio.
In 1983 she discovered the world of Ballroom dancing. She trained and competed for 8 years under Roberto Pagan and many well known coaches in American & International styles. In 1985 took 5th in her first ballroom competition at the USBC. In 1986 took 1st at the Virginia State Ballroom Championships in Latin, Won 1st place at 1986 Ohio Star Ball State Championships. In 1986 she won her first United States title,” USBC American Rhythm Champion” in Miami Florida.
In 1990 Donna entered the well know Zackary’s Dance Competition and took 1st Place. One year later winning the Tri State Open Hustle Championships sponsored by Night Life Magazine. Donna went on to choreograph for dance tours to China, Italy, Florida, Hershey Park, Carnegie Hall (“Cole Porter’s 100th Birthday Celebration” and “An invitation to Dance” with the NY Pops Orchestra). Donna started competing again for fun after taking a 14 year break and took 1St Place with her dance partner Derrick Allan in Professional Open Hustle Theater Arts at the Hustle Congress in 2006. Donna has been on staff for “World Hustle”, New York Hustle Congress”, “International Hustle & Salsa Competition” in Miami and the New Orleans “The Big Easy” to judge, teach workshops and perform. Donna won an on line poll in 2006 sponsored by Ron Bess’s Dance Talk as Favorite Female Dancer in the Reader’s Choice Awards. Currently Donna teaches, Choreographs and performs in New York and beyond. For the past 15 years Donna has been the Ballroom Entertainment Director for the “Stardust Dance Weekends” in the Catskills & Stardust Cruises. | Erica Smith
| Erica Smith is truly, “The Hustling Attorney.” Erica was first introduced to Hustle while attending the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law . Taking to the dance from the start, Erica quickly climbed the Hustle Amateur ranks. Less than a year after her formal introduction to the dance, Erica went from competing as a Newcomer to winning 1st place in Advanced Amateur Divisions. With more than 17 Advanced Amateur 1st place wins and 7 Amateur Triple Threat (Hustle, WCS, Salsa) 1st place wins under her belt, Erica was arguably the Top Female Amateur Hustle and Triple Threat Competitor for two years prior to her professional status. Since becoming a professional competitor, Erica has placed in the Top 3 in Professional/Champions Just Hustle, Jack & Jill Hustle, and Triple Threat Divisions across the country. In 2007, TV Guide Magazine coined Erica the “Disco-Dancing Lawyer” after she performed a Just Hustle that led her all the way to Vegas on the nationally syndicated television show, “So You Think You Can Dance.” Thereafter, Erica was pictured alongside Shane Sparks in the July 2007 issue of US Weekly. Erica’s knowledge of Ballet, Salsa, and Swing has greatly influenced her Hustle style. Erica trained extensively with the Washington School of Ballet for almost 10 years and performed with ballet companies from all over the world including, but not limited to, the Joffery Ballet, the Royal Ballet, Dance Theater of Harlem, and the Washington School of Ballet. In 2005, Erica performed with Rica Sensacion at the 7th Annual West Coast Salsa Congress. In 2008, Erica became a US Open Swing Dance Champion. | Jameson Kilburn
| Jameson is co-owner of Top Hat Dance Studio of Philadelphia and Lancaster where he can be found teaching group classes and private lessons in Ballroom, Latin, Swing, & Hustle. For the past 10 years Jameson has continued to study, teach, compete, and perform in the arena of professional partner dancing. Jameson received a score of "Highly Commended" on his certification examinations in International Standard dancing in 2007 and also received a score of "with Honours" on his certification examinions in Theater Arts in 2008 with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). Jameson is also a proud member of the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) and has been an active board member of the International Hustle Dance Association (IHDA) for the past 6 years. Jameson's current credentials include: Associate International Standard (ISTD), Licentiate Theater Arts (ISTD), Associate Hustle (IHDA/DVIDA). He can be seen at many different dance events throughout the country teaching, judging, performing, and competiting and is best known for the way in which he "de-mystifies" the technical side of partner dancing to make it obtainable by everyone. Jameson's dance career started in the theater where he was featured as a dancer in 'Kiss of the Spider Woman', 'Anything Goes', 'La Cage aux Folles', and most recently 'Evita'. Jameson has since enjoyed choreographing for competitive routines, shows throughout Pennsylvania, and most recently for 2008's installment of 'Dance Theater' in Hempfield, Pa. Jameson has placed in the Top 3 both in the Professional and Pro/Am divisions in numerous competitions; including the International Hustle & Salsa Competition, Mid-Atlantic Dance Jam, Big Easy Dance Classic, Dance Seattle, Philadelphia Festival Championships, North American Dance Championships, and the World Hustle Competition. Jameson has always said, "Dance should be fun! And most importantly, it should be what you make of it". That statment can be seen in his approach to teaching, performing, and dancing in general. His greatest reward is helping a student achieve a goal; he views it as the best way of returning the favor to all of the wonderful coaches and teachers who have, and continue to help him, on this journey we call dance. She has successfully competed nationally with professional and amateur partners and has received numerous Top Female Teacher Awards. She is the director, coach and choreographer for 2 local Hustle Dance Teams in the Washington DC area. His private affairs provide Oldies, Motown, Classic Rock, Modern Rock, Top 40, 70s and 80s, Country, Big Band/Standards, Hip Hop, Funk/R&B.

| Philip C. Spinka, owner of Submarine Productions (www.submarineproductions.com), began DJing in 1987 and opened his first mobile DJ business in 1990, catering to the wedding and private party industry. When he learned to dance, he learned a new way to view music. He studied music theory and musicality in conjunction with dancing and performance for many years.
As a Dancing DJ and accomplished competitive dancer, Philip maintains a passionate and scientific understanding of music and its purpose for dancers. As a passionate music lover, he maintains a huge library of dance music that is specifically labeled, categorized, and tailored to dancers’ needs, as well as being updated regularly with new and exciting music.
Submarine Productions provides entertainment services for weddings and private parties, and DJs many dance parties for Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Hustle dancers in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Northeast Pennsylvania.

| Roberto Pagan has been a U.S. American Rhythm finalist, U.S. Rising Star Theater Arts champion, top Cabaret couple of the year, Blackpool Theater Arts finalist. Two- years Canadian Theater Arts Champion, and World Hustle Champion. He has won over 200 titles in five professional divisions.
In the last two years Roberto has won top hustle instructor in the country by DanceTalk. During the last year Roberto partnered up with Rosa Guiliana. They have placed 1st at the Disco America triple threat, Classic Hustle and open Hustle Theater Arts. They placed 3rd in Open Hustle Showcase at MadJam. They placed 2nd in the Open Hustle Theater Arts at the World Hustle Championship and 1st place in the Strictly Hustle. | | Silvana Gallagher | 
| Stephanie Risser
| Stephanie Risser began her dance training with Carolyn Trythall at what is now Lancaster School of Ballet, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. There she studied the Cecchetti Method of ballet, modern, jazz, and tap. Stephanie then attended the University of Hartford/School of the Hartford Ballet BFA program, where she had many o pportunities to perform and the chance to work with Hartford Ballet. After graduating with a BFA in Dance Pedagogy Stephanie returned to Lancaster where she taught for Lancaster School of Ballet and worked with Ballet Theater of Lancaster. Stephanie also began studying ballroom dancing. She continued her ballroom training after she moved to Connecticut to teach at the School of Dance Connecticut. There she taught students from ages 3-15 and was the children’s rehearsal co-coordinator for Adam Miller’s production of The Nutcracker. In 2002, she moved to Philadelphia, where as well as starting and directing a ballet program, she began teaching Ballroom and Latin. After a short stint competing in International Latin she began competing professionally in Hustle. Stephanie has won numerous Hustle competitions, including IHSC, Disco America and MadJam. Along with competing, Stephanie has performed in many shows at various competitions and continues to perform and teach around the country. | Wingo Hom (The Dance Doctor) was born and raised in New York, New York. At age 11, his passion for partner dancing was ignited after a classmate's parents introduced him to a variety of dances right in their living room. Steadfast dedication and thirst for excellence compelled him to study under some of the finest instructors and led him to compete in an array of dances such as: American and International styles of Ballroom and Latin, Hustle, East/West Coast Swing, and Salsa. Throughout his 40 plus years of experience, Wingo have achieved more than 460 first place titles; an unprecedented 32 Jack and Jill first place titles; and in 2006 along with his previous partner, received the International Hustle Dance Association Points Awards as Amateur Hustle Dancers of the year. In February 2009, he and his very first dance instructor from years back reunited to win 1st place at the Dancing With The Stars on tour in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Achieved full silver lead and follow certifications in 10 different American dance styles. Recently, passed a exam to be a certified Hustle dancer with the International Hustle Dance Association. On June, 20th 2007, bidding farewell to his seemingly never ending amateur career, Wingo continues his journey as a professional dancer, instructor and competitor, with equal dedication and passion. During his professional Hustle debut at Disco America 2007, Wingo’s Pro-Am students earned 8 placements. Later that same year, he then proceeded to earn the Top Teacher Award at the World Hustle Dance Championships. At Disco America 2009, he was the Top Male Hustle Teacher winner. Amid a virtual lifetime of dancing and a ‘Midas touch’, Wingo is also an accomplished bowler, the ultimate team player, capturing 30 first place league titles, 4 New York City team tournament titles, 1 doubles tournament title, 4 sanctioned perfect 300 games, and numerous high average, high series and high game awards. Also, add a First Degree Black Belt Martial Arts certification into the mix. Wingo currently resides in Queens Village, New York. Still very actively pursues the competition circuit around the country, primarily in Hustle, Swing, Salsa, with Ballroom and Latin on the side. Wingo will be teaching a Beginner West Coast Swing workshop on Sunday morning at 10 at this event and is available for Private Lessons throughout the weekend.
